At our beekeeping program, we offer hands-on teaching classes for anyone interested in becoming a beekeeper. Our program takes you through the entire beekeeping season, from spring build-up, splitting, honey production, mite checks, feeding, and more.

Our expert beekeepers will guide you in a working beeyard, providing practical, real-world knowledge that you won't find in a textbook. After the class, each participant will receive two starter hives the following spring to kick-start their beekeeping journey.

Our program meets 1-2 times per month (depending on the month) for an entire season. Additionally, we offer private classes and queen rearing classes, both conducted hands-on in a beeyard.

We're also available for speaking engagements and events for a variety of groups and organizations throughout the state.
